Thanks! Battlechess was probably the first Amiga game I ever played so I was chuffed to get a mint big box version for a decent price.

I haven't even got a vhs player anymore but couldn't resist picking up the tape (loved that show as a kid).

...and the big Krang is just awesome.

I loved that cartoon, ALTHOUGH I could'n understand a single word from it. I watched it via satellite when I was a kid, it was in original dubbing and I lived in socialistic country... Great visuals. So they have never returned home?

My dad had one of these things, with a cheap CGA Sopwith clone I liked so much I put it on PC-Task on the 'ol 1200. Made for some interesting screen-garble in the area that wasn't visible under the portable. I'll have to e-mail that t if I ever get my old syquest cartridges working.

Picked up a Playstation 2 yesterday for £4.99. No cables. But I thought it would be worth that much just for the AC/DC converter.

Bought a rooted Nook Color running Android 2.3.4 for reading old Amiga magazines on. It's fun reading The One from 1993 and seeing them talk about the future of the Amiga games market. Reading about the Konix Multi-system is fun too! Shame it was never released...

Also got a Verizon Droid Incredible 2, great little phone, flashed to Page Plus to save a few bob each month (cheapest plan in USA as far as I can tell).

@Anna - I love reading the old Amiga mags - must get myself some sort of new device for reading all the pdf'ed mags now available. I used to really like "The One" - good old Andy Nuttall - he was funny!

Yeah I've got that, the PSP UMD of the show and also the original US DVD version which had extra bits the uk release didn't (which includes a mini board game based on the cartoon show).

My daughter is 2 in a couple weeks so isn't quite old enough to appreciate how cool this series was just yet. lol

After many years of giving me great service my Samsung Syncmaster 213t finally died. It has Svideo input so i really need to try to fix this so i can use it on my Amigas. I have already replaced the capacitors on the inverter board so it must be the backlights that have died as there is a very very faint image, no lights from the backlights at all.. Sooo, rather than chuck it, i bought this...

http://www.ccflwarehouse.com/cctrbaasfor21.html

I'll take pics and if i get it working i'll show what is involved.

1. A one tera byte HD.
2. Steelseries Kana mouse.
3. Steelseries 6gv2 mechanical keyboard.

Pity the keyboard only has one Windows key, or I'd buy one for my Amiga as well

This arrived the other day:

A1200 - Complete with warranty seal intact
3 joypad/sticks, including a Bug
About 150 disks, including the complete, boxed ones in the piccy.

My first response would be to crack it open and expand the bejeezuz out of it, but with the seal still intact, I probably won't!

Looks like I need to get another one to expand

Oh yeah, 75 quid for the lot.

Excellent Deal mate - that A1200 looks to be in very good condition...
Anything interesting floppy disks lurking in that disk box, PD, Shareware stuff etc...? or are the disks just back up games?

Intact seal also means old capacitors, and if they're not leaking yet, they soon will, so I wouldn't worry about breaking that seal.

I had a couple, 5.25" disks were way cheaper than 3.5", and you could re-use the old C64 disks (sacrilege now)
