Duel 01: Blues Brothers vs Hudson Hawk

Hi guys,

Im gonna make a series of duels of games with some similar features.
Of course only if the polls get enough votes and if the moderators permit it.

Here is the first poll.

Two games of similar theme. Both film based.. both very rock'n'roll... just one more than the other, evidently.

Today Ive been playing Krisalis games.. SoccerKid AGA, boring.. and Arabian Nights.. much better =) many secret rooms.

Although the inertia in Hudson Hawk is really annoying at times, it has more variety in the levels. I found Blues Brothers just another really boring game with large maps so Hudson Hawk gets my vote.

Also any game that drops a piano on your head when you don't move for ages has to get some bonus points!

Of course if some moderator have an idea to do not fill the forum with this threads.. I'll listen and be good boy.

- SpecialFX irreverent movie conversion ( one designer were Jonathan Smiffff, author of famous Speccy game Cobra, a landmark in tie-in movie games )

or

- Jake and Elwood in a "mission from God". Practically the first game from Titus software were we said.. "thank god these french guys has started to code decently for Amiga".

Still 3 days for vote.

Though Blues Brothers is winning easy. Is noted that its Characters and the casual gameplay ( nearly PD ) made the day for lot of players. Making that technical limitations be overlooked.

Both games has theirs flaws each one, but original movie and the difficulty level is more a burden on HudsonHawk. ( and controls maybe too)

In some minutes I will post Duel 02!! and its gonna hard to decide.. you'll see.
