Thanks, all added.
Not knowing those games, I'll trust you on the usefulness of the maps (well, anyway we had nothing until now for those games ).

Because of authorization from the authors?
You may be correct. However, it might be worth to know a bit more about what the Bird CD is (which is one of the parent directory of those files). Perhaps it is a compilation of elements sent by readers from a magazine or something like that? Any idea on the matter s2325? (or anyone else)

I think Bird CD was made by polish guy Anthrox: http://forum666.thecompany.pl/archiv...php/t-951.html He was on EAB with thread about WinUAE + games merged in one executable file (just click and play).

Hmmm, I think I will follow mai's point of view on the subject, as long as there is no certainty about the maps being allowed to be published everywhere. So I will remove them from HOL :-/
I guess that since they can be simply accessed online directly, there is no harm in having them linked in this thread though.

Thanks, both added.
F15 had a lot more conversions to add: http://www.mobygames.com/game/f-15-strike-eagle I have double checked the date on MG with dedicated databases for the Spectrum and CPC: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infos...cgi?id=0001702 http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&num=849 Not really sure on what database I could use for some other conversions, so I will trust MG on that (especially when they have screenshots).

I think Golden Oldies is also compatible with Atari 65 and 130 models. Model 400 have not much games because of only 16K of memory.

Ok, changed to the conversion category that we currently have that includes the 65 and 130.
I always add games from Atari Mania to the category that includes the 400 since their own category is 400 800 XE XL, unless ofc there is something specified in their entry. I don't know much about the Atari 8-bit machines so feel free to specify any additional info. in you find similar cases or for future contributions. Or if you think we should split/change the current conversion categories, please start a thread in the HOL suggestions thread. Currently we have those categories: Atari 400/800/1200XL Atari 800/130/XL/XE Atari XEGS/65XE/130XE/800XL

I have never played PP Hammer so I can't have a clear opinion on the matter right now.
However, according to the MG entry for Mickey Mouse IV, it seems like the MM IV is just a regional variation of game on GameBoy: Quote:
Apparently those games were released after PP Hammer. So there is a good chance that you are right. But is it possible that each game was actually inspired by a 3rd game? Or are they very similar to the point that there is no doubt? PS : A quick look online seems to indicate that other people consider the GB game to be a rip-off PP Hammer: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/58587...sters/43250964 http://www.youtube.com/all_comments?...CG9dD7w&page=2 I really would like to see if there was something official or if it was indeed a rip-off (or as I said inspired by a 3rd game). My quick search did not give any relevant result.

Interesting.
Unexotica seems to confirm that Phil Nixon/Phillip Nixon (99% of being the same person) is the author of both game music: http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Double_Agent http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Inter..._Ninja_Rabbits So I guess there are pieces of information in the modules showing that. There seems to be a difference between the file size though. Perhaps it is a slightly modified version? Strangely he is not credited in the "Program Credits Screen". I vaguely remember a similar case (someone not officialy credited but strong proofs of him being the author of music). I don't remember what was finally decided: credit him "officially" or put it as a note. I'll wait for the opinion of the HOL core members.

Thanks. Confirmed. I played a bit and the stages seem a bit different but most the things seem similar.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/gameboy/585880-robocop/images It seems there is also another Robocop game for the GameBoy Color, which has different gameplay: http://www.mobygames.com/game/gameboy-color/robocop___ Edit: Added the ZX Spectrum port and the TSR-80 Coco port: http://www.mobygames.com/game/robocop/screenshots http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infos...cgi?id=0004179
