It seems, there exists also a french release, called "Micro Scrabble".

And very well translated : "License" is probably untranslated US English since we spell it "licence" (like in UK English).
I wonder if the translator just got lazy or if he actually did not know the correct spelling.


I suppose you have checked in-game to be sure it is the same game.


I guess here "micro" stands for microcomputer [version]. It is true that when I was young it was quite common to speak about "micro" when speaking of a computer.

Besides as far as I know, there is no variant of Scrabble (the real game) that is called micro-Scrabble.

It is a bit strange that they removed the Amiga part in the title screen compared to the 2 variants we already have.


I had a quick online, and if you confirm it is indeed the same game, we will have at least one conversion, for the MO5:

There is even IPF release, at least ingame title differs.
