Interestingly, I don't think Bob created the original artwork for Chase H.Q., but rather he reproduced artwork created by Taito.

Well, i didn't remember that the last post in this great thread was the last year, because that, i'm going to put a link to one similar thread that we have in the spanish Amstrad CPC forum.

There is a lot of pictures, it's because that i don't think that the language will be a problem. And the spirit is the same (it's so funny how this

) and a lot of Look-A-Likes are from games with an Amiga version, too.

The manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventures by Hirohiko Araki has had a large influence on some Japanese character designers.

On the Amiga the most obvious influence will be how the character Stroheim inspired the design for Guile in Street Figther 2:

Masamune Shirow's manga Appleseed was probably a strong influence in the character design of the background characters in the Justice table in Pinball Illusions.

The picture below is not from the manga itself but from a video (published after the game). Nevertheless, the design of the characters are quite similar in the manga.
