Amiga Tracker Mods Conversion
Hi all - I hope I am in the correct section - Does anyone know of a service that would be able to convert Amiga Tracker Mods (From Octamed) into either mp3`s or wav files?

You can use OctaMed in WinUAE and save sound output as .wav

EXtocia also offer a mp3/ogg version of the music stored on the website.
Simply use the http://www.exotica.org.uk/mediawiki/...md=qsearch&qs= and enter the name of the module you want to get in mp3/ogg |

You can always use UADE to convert to wav and then to whatever final format you like.

Amiga mods in the attic.......
Hi Akira, I was a freelance Amiga musician in the 80's and did some stuff for Microprose. I discovered that I still have some original in-game music (on Amiga floppies) in a box in the attic. I haven't heard them since they were shoehorned onto Stealth fighter 2 all those years ago. Although someone pointed me at You tube where the intro has been posted, and hearing it revived my interest again! I would dearly love to be able to put them into Renoise and re mix them with all the wizzy bits I now have available, but to do that they would have to be in some kind of recognisable tracker format. At the moment they are medmods and they also have the distinction of being the only game music that was produced using Octamed.
Failing that it would also be great to be able just to hear them again as mp3s, so at the very least I could cringe with embarassment...or not, whatever the case may be. Maybe if each track was a seperate sample? I could re-mix that way... I'm just thinking aloud here.... Any thoughts?..... |

Im a Renoise user (regged user but just like to mess around with tunes for fun)
I know what to do! Use the pc version of Octamed Soundstudio, load the mods in that way. I think you can save as xm or even wav (not sure havent used the program for sooooo long) but xm would load into renoise and then you could render and mix to your hearts content |
