Chiptune/synth tracker

I remember trying a tracker where a part of the waveform could be inverted in order to make phasing effects (the number of samples to be inverted could change over time). E.g. if you had a waveform with all samples at 127, you could make C64 style pulse width modulation by inverting an increasing number of samples of the waveform. Does anyone know which tracker this could be?

Thanks, but I don't think Delta Music has such an instrument effect. At least I can't find it.

It does have exactly that effect (the "wave negator"), but it's not the one I was looking for. Looks like an interesting program though, didn't know about it before. Thanks!

Wow, this seems to be a quite common feature. BP has it, but isn't the one I remember either. It too looks interesting though, thanks!

AHX perhaps? It was also a popular and capable synth-tracker:

EDIT: Art of Noise maybe? I think it may have been related to AHX (formerly THX):

Both very capable trackers, but neither match the description.

Same with Musicline - very nice tracker, but doesn't have that particular feature.
