You must join the 'Access - The Zone!' group.

UserCP -> Miscellaneous -> Group Memberships.

I'm looking for Maple V for a friend of mine who is still studying in University. So could you upload the adf file again so I can download it and give it to him. Thanks a lot & Greetings

I'm also new to the this board...can Maple V be uploaded to the Zone again...actually wouldn't mine buying a copy too if somebody knows were.

Maple (at version 11 by now) is available from Maplesoft (a division of Waterloo Maple Inc.). The pricing is rather steep though, unless you get one of the much cheaper student versions.

Edit: By the way, there are also decent free computer algebra systems like Maxima. Also check the "Free computer algebra systems" category at Wikipedia for more examples (of the programs in the list I've personally only tried Maxima though).

And I somehow doubt anyone is selling ancient Amiga versions.

Except maybe some used Amiga software shop. But except for supporting your favorite Amiga shop, what's the point in buying it?

And frankly I don't see the point in using a very old Maple version when you can have new versions of other programs for free (or as a student a brand new Maple version for cheap).

I'd somehow imagine it runs a little faster on a modern PC than it does on the Amiga too.

Yeah I was looking for the Amiga version...That is a good point in that buying Maple V doesn't really do anything for supporting development since it has ceased.....but somehow there is something about owning the original (ethical maybe ...)...

Anyways what was the last version for Amiga? Is it 4.2?
