EAB/Lemon Super League 2012: Round 8 Game Vote

EAB/Lemon Super League 2012: Round 8 Game Vote (Special round - Games released in 1991)
Starts: 00:01 June 24 Finishes: 23:59 July 7

Rules

Full rules are here.

Vote for five games.

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt.

This is the vote for the second special round of the season. When voting you can only choose games that were first released in 1991. The two games with the most votes will be played. If you are in doubt about a games status, ask in the thread before you vote, or contact a Moderator. It will be sorted out before the end of voting.

Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon.

If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify.

aca0808 won Round 7 and will have his vote doubled for Round 8 (i.e. 1st place = 10 pts, 2nd = 8 pts etc).

1. GemX
2. Leander
3. Dynablaster
4. First Samurai (best times)
5. Traders

One logic game per 2 years would be cool, there are enough (even for this round with GemX and Atomino) - but it does not seem to come soon.

Hmmm... well, the one displayed when searching for Dyna Blaster (over on Lemon) does have a score, if you think 0 is a score!

I was actually flicking through the games from 1991 over at Lemon yesterday before making my choices. Gods was my first choice, until I realised it had been played before.

Would Formula One Grand Prix count as a game suitable for competition play?

http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=389

I guess you could dish out points for fastest total lap times over several tracks?

That would be ok, as along as a standard configuration of the car can be defined.

Is this really suitable? I have only played original Populous and found it quite pointless.

At the end of a battle there is a score, so I can't see why not.
