Yeah the arcade version is pretty epic and I would love to have one. The 2600 version is pretty tripped down compared to the arcade original. Yet it's still fun

the 80s rocked, man! Back then game rooms were pretty much the same, mostly set in bedrooms and there was little to brag about apart from systems itself (hardly any modding etc.) Always wondered how American Psycho's game room would look like. The author of this novel seems to indulge in hi-tech 80s gadgets, giving you pretty detailed specs in his book.

Lol it's not as organised as it may look. If I had taken some pics of my desk then it would be a sea of beer cans, scraps of paper with notes on and coffee mugs. All surrounding my weathered iMac.

The rest I keep in a sort of organised way. I do try to keep games for certain systems clumped together. However I am starting to run out of space and I am just starting to put tuff where I can. Maybe when we move I can ask the soon-to-be-wife if I can have some extra storage.

Cammy took some photos of our office this morning showing our main development and testing machines. Since she doesn't post here, I thought I'd put these up for anyone to see who may have missed them on other forums.

It sure is in a private house, we rent out the three bedrooms upstairs and turned the downstairs area, where the lounge and dining room would normally be into this computer office, and turned the garage into a games room.

We haven't had any parties here in a while but we'd love to have a LAN party or something eventually. I don't think I'd want joe public knowing about all our gear here, I wouldn't want it to all go missing while we're out. As for fellow Amiga users and other retro computing enthusiasts, sure they're welcome to drop by I guess.

All the rooms are occupied currently but if someone moves out, another Amiga user would be most welcome.

Well now that my 1200 and all my bits have arrived, I spent all yesterday stripping it down and giving it a warm soapy bath,(it was in a horrible grimey state) It's cleaned up better than i thought it would. (The case is immaculate as is the external floppy drive after a wash) there's just a few keys and the PSU that need the peroxide treatment when i get the time but for now i'm re-living my childhood.
Gonna buy a ACA 1230 @ 42Mhz - 64mb Ram in a couple of weeks so that i can make use of my WHDLoad license and KG's Packs.

Anyway here is my humble retro corner (please excuse the poor photo quality- HTC have alot to learn about camera's)

PS: Considering it came with an external floppy drive and 200+ floppys, Not bad for £32 eh?

This is my computer room, with all machines running games that I created:

The PC on the left is running Other Worlds, the Amiga is running Cornelius saves Christmas and the PC on the right is running Diamonds in the Rough.

I can't believe how tidy these rooms are. My place is a mad scientists mess, full of old amigas, old pc's, old macs, old consoles, boxes of floppys, joysticks, piles of parts, even an Apple II clone. I have a compactus full of old junk, three benches, numerous tables and a few shelves. All treasure to me but junk to my wife...

Not something important but a sneak peak (work in progress)

You can see my A600 and A4000 beasts, plus my CPC6128 and MegaDrive with Everdrive and some small bench for soldering and modding
A mini desktop PC (Pentium 3) exists below the mouse (but not visible) for burning ROMS and using for some occasions lol

Photo is 1 month old as I have some extra parts these days like XBOX360, and trying to find space for the XBOX/PS2 and some more space for Midi Keyboard and my Midi boxes and sequencer
Damn so much hobbies so little space and time

The tiny screen (800x600) is for the desktop PC that's it's not visible in the photo (it's under the mouse shelf) which I use for burning EPROMS and transferring some files every once and a while
A4000 with the GREX has the main LCD/TV @ 1360x768

Pics actually a few months old, I bought a differant keyboard, mousemat, and theres now a shelf full of amiga games and a few arcade sticks above my desk.

And the 1200 has been retrobrighted

Love your A600 setup dude. Specially with the A1011 disk drive. What is that arcade joystick on the left though? It looks incredible.
I just noticed the Windows key! What is that doing on your A600?

Thanks Akira! The joystick is a Star Cursor(i also changed some wiring in the joystick so the red button on the base is a clone of up, basically a jump button for platform games)

As for the windows key, lol i wondered if anyone would notice.
I lost the original amiga key, and that's just a temporary replacement, quite funny though.
