A recent Aminet release of 1.18 was made. On the Yahoo mailing list there's also another person who did their own 1.18 which they've been offering on demand.

Anyone else making their own fixes?

Excellent, sounds like the two parties fixing it are on track to making the best possible combined version.

Cool Pity about the stuck cursor problem, though (moving over a line causes the cursor to stay in place for several characters).

As far as I know Dieter Groppe (mcp) has left Amiga for years. So, it could be that nothing comes from him.
