Issues of Amiga Format....

Does anyone know where to get hold of complete issues (in PDF format or other..) to d/l and read at leisure? I've looked at the magix FTP site and basically there's zilch, but for example CU Amiga there's loads!

More than anything it's for a letter I wrote to them and I'd love to read it again (just to see what a cabbage I really was), and I'm buggered if I can remember which issue it was!!

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Amiga Format (full scans) at your leisure http://awesome.commodore.me/downloads/magazine/

Not all of them yet, but the scanning of most is already underway, except for 9 issues that we don't have yet.

That's great news about the mags DDNI! Thanks!

I think all the CD's are present and accounted for... unless you have any weird special issue ones?

OT - DDNI do you have any Amiga VHS videos?

I have the hard copy (the mags) but if you give me a little time i`ll see if i can down load those at HOL or AMR and see if i can make them into PDF for you, and the Amiga community. got to practice a little >_<

you want the the adverts also ?

i do have them. will scan when i have time if you want, as the mags wont last forever will they and there is`nt that many of them compared to proper info pages.

It`s also been my intention to make them into a proper web page at some point, i may start work on it soon.

If possible bugsthor taht would be great. It's purely because I want to collect the mags exactly as they were with the adverts, letters, the lot. Some people may think I'm nuts but it feels more "complete" like that to me.

I'm the webmaster of awesome.commodore.me, we have all full pdf mags of every AF magazine on AMR already btw, Also as Basquemactee1 mentioned most on AMR aren't complete magazines.
As for the coverdisks we have all those too I think, I would have to double check though.
We have a lot of AF stuff ready to be added to the site soon including cover cds and extras.

The list of missing AF magazines is on our forum

Definitely Kitty, that website is truly outstanding, especially for old timers like me. I even found the Amiga Format in which I'd written to them suggesting they changed the letter of the month prize to a subscription to the mag for the year, and they not only took me up on it, but also actually gave me the first subscription as a prize!! My one and only proud prize winning moment!

Wow! Excellent work, Kitty (and all those that contributed). I've just rediscovered AF issue 72. It felt mighty strange reading the review of my game, Poker Mania (PD), after all these years!
