Here is a first beta of the WHDLoad patch. CUSTOM1=1 enables built-in cheatmode. The patch needs an installed Kick 1.3 ROM (I also made a slave which works without a Kick ROM but it doesn't work correctly yet). Preinstalled version attached.

I made to the outskirts of the city and got wasted by the tank, even highscore got saved.

Looks good so far. Any chance, that you map the game menu (load save talk etc.) on a second button?

That's perfectly possible. Next update will include "CUSTOM2=1" tooltype which will enable 2nd button support for the menu.

It's a hard but nice game. Unlimited energy trainer should make it a "little bit" easier.
