Global Over Dose = GOD (1st image)

Is GSC Worldwide the same as GSC International?
If it is, then the abbreviation is definitely GSC (2nd Image)

Zenith = ZNT (3rd Image)

Hoodlum = HLM (4th Image)

Infinite Perfection = IP (5th Image)

Magnetic Fields = MF (6th - 8th Images)

Now, this is going to be the closest I can get to Computerbrains Cracking Service = CCS. Don't know if this is going to be good enough, but the name/handle 'PHS' is on both of these productions.

The first two images are from one production highlighting 'Computerbrains Cracking Service' and 'PHS'

The third image highlights 'CCS' and 'PHS'

Of course, PHS could be two different people, although it's unlikely.
Not sure on what you mean with PHS, google tells me that:
Per HÃ¥kan Sundell (born 1968, Sweden) is a programmer and computer scientist with roots in the scene and early computer entusiasts of the eighties, when he was known as PHS of CCS (Computerbrains Cracking Service). https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikiped...%A5kan_Sundell
:P

Thanks for all the others too

One question about this one for you guys. What was the name they used / were known for? Extasy (aka Ecstasy)? Or both are different names?
I think XTC = Extasy in amiga / c64, based on the following links:
http://noname.c64.org/csdb/group/?id=985
http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Extacy
there s also:
http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Ecstasy

... but on that image i can read Ecstasy + XTC, what should i conclude from this?

Amiga Industries = AI (Not to be confused with Amega Industries) 1st & 2nd image)
Spreadpoint - SP (2nd image)

Although it has been presumed they had joined together, making the abbreviation AISP, I believe this is wrong judging by the 2nd image, it was just a coop and they both retained their original abbreviations and didn't join them together.

So whatever is in TOSEC should be changed from 'AISP' to 'AI - SP' or the group names depending on if the abbreviation is already used.

What do you guys think?

Amnesty = AME (3rd image)

Anadune = AND (4th Image)

Antarkos = ATK (5th - 8th Image)

That is correct, there never was a group called "AISP", it was just Spreadpoint+Amiga Industries, a normal cooperation.

Thanks StingRay

*Cough* Deep breath!!!

Association Of Fanatic Computer Freaks, The = AOFCF (1st Image. Who thinks up these group names )

Apathy = APT (2nd Image. Can't use abbreviation as Advanced Pirating Technologies use it)

Apollo = APL (3rd Image.Although I suspect this one is a scener and not a group as it states 'Apollo/PDX')

Arcadia Team, The = TAT (4th Image)

Armageddon = AMG (5th Image)

Artemis = ART (6th Image)

Assassins, The = TAS (7th & 8th Images)

Thanks again!
I think that "Association Of Fanatic Computer Freaks, The" must be the biggest scene group name ever :P
About Apollo, i think you're right, according to http://www.facebook.com/pages/PARADO...0856269?v=info Apollo was a member / hero of PDX (Paradox), do you guys agree?

Atlantys = ATS (1st Image)

101 - The Maltese Hackers = 101 (2nd & 3rd Image)

Two Four Two = 242 (4th & 5th Image. Although I suspect the group name was digits rather than words) Whatever you decide let me know

Just to clarify the scene group name is '101 - The Maltese Hackers' and not what I had previously posted earlier.

Although I already knew the name was present in their scroller (using a Ram dump and viewing it in notepad), it took almost 5mins to get to it :s

Finally, the proof we've all been waiting for

2000 A.D. = 2K AD (with a space)

Thanks! So... is it 2KAD or "2K AD"?
Imo there's no problem writing it "2KAD" as it was already used in tosec dats, in other abbreviations that also appear with spaces or points separating the letters in some intros people usually strip them out, since it can vary too much between different sets.

Opinions on this?

Well, for ease I'd be happy with '2KAD' I have also seen it as '2K A.D' but as it didn't look right I decided not to add any more confusion regarding it.

For me '2KAD' works just fine
