Problem running E-UAE from my HDD

I can run E-UAE with AmigaForever 2008 from the CD-ROM on my A1-XE but can't seem to setup E-UAE to run from my HDD. I have copied the files from AF2008 plus the kickstart rom images and rom.key. I think have edited the .uaerc file correctly but when I run E-UAE all I get is the grey amiga DOS window. The E-UAE info window appears to recognise my System & Work HDD (copied from AF2008).

Is there someting else I must do to make AF Files work in E-UAE?

Any help gratefully acceted.

Regarding hd, i have this section in .uaerc:

hardfile2=rw,:$(FILE_PATH)/DiscoAmiga.img,0,0,0,512,0,
hardfile=rw,0,0,0,512,$(FILE_PATH)/DiscoAmiga.img
filesystem2=rw,dh2:AmigaShare:/home/mtb/Virtualbox,0
filesystem=rw,AmigaShare:/home/mtb/Virtualbox

DiscoAmiga.hdf is an hd image.

Filesystem instead is for mounting a unix directory as a virtual hd to easily share files.

I don't know if it will work, it's almost 2 year that i don't try it, but hope it will help.

E-uae on mac or linux?

i've never used Amiga Forever. have you tried setting it up with say classicWB ?

It sounds like a problem detecting whatever the 'content' of the virtual HD is meant to be.

If it wasnt finding a disk at all, it would just go to the kickstart screen.
