I like the Saturn Arcade ports. According to wiki and some other sites they run in emulation. Is it really true?

Games like Elevator Action Returns, Liquid Kids, Chase HQ, Outrun etc. looks & plays awesome. Much better than e.g. the Namco Museum stuff i know from the PSX.

I'm not sure what you mean? Are you saying the arcade ports are being emulated on the Saturn? As far as i know they are running from the Saturn hardware and not being emulated (real arcade versions always look a bit better)

EDIT: oh i see are you talking about "older" Sega games???... it's getting late and i am not quite with it

Yes they probably are being emulated if it's part of some arcade collection?

Sega do have a habit of enhancing graphics on older games and re-releasing them... so those ones will not be emulated.

Yes, it looks like the games run on Saturn Hardware. Very close to 1:1 ports. And if it's really an emulation: Pretty good.

The saturn was the best console at the time for near-perfect arcade ports

I think the only old games that could have been emulated on the saturn are the classic 80's/90's arcade bundles etc... The more recent arcade ports in the days of the Saturn would have run from the Saturn's hardware

I can't read Spanish either

just English and some French

That must be the most complete list of Saturn games i have seen! I bet there's quite a few import releases i have never heard of

Anybody who said the Saturn did not have many games is 100% wrong

they also have about 12 variations of the Saturn console to play all those games on - Manufactured by Victor (JVC), Hitachi, Sega and Samsung.
