Yes, Far Cry has something of SF, so I played it (even if I did not find it so funny), in Far Cry 2 there is no SF content.

I don't mean that Far Cry didn't have SciFi elements, but there were no aliens IIRC. Like I said I quite enjoyed to not only shoot human soldiers, but also freaky mutants jumping at you Dunno, but I really like a bit of diversity when it comes to enemies in FPS.

pardon my typo, of course they are mutants. But be honest: they are man-made, not the product of nature. So are they natural, or alien?

Darkseed. Ageless game.
Last night I had a World cup on Wembley Int Soccer. Very underrated game.

Well they don't come from outer space and stuff I got the idea anyway, but wanted to make sure that my memory doesn't fail me completely. I think I need a new PC before I can take a look at Far Cry 2

Read: stop upgrading your PC, in stead downgrade it

X-Box 360 versions of games do not come close to the PC version IMO. Generally you have degraded graphics and annoying slowdowns when things get hectic.

I am playing Matathon, the classic FPS by Bugie, on Windows using the open source engime (Aleph-One).

Thank you for reminding me of its existence (and the sequel); I never gave them a try!

Marathon made me feel ill also, I think it was the framerate on my old PC maybe. I was going to give it a try recently but I decided that it might still make me feel bad.

I feel really sick right now anyway so I might as well give it a blast! It might make me feel better!

Never played it either until now, but a new engine always get's my attention Another one for the weekend
Btw : My brother always felt sick after playing FPS (old ones) for half an hour. Never had that problem myself though

Well if I have a bad hangover... but I guess that's not your problem
ScummVM not supports 7th Guest, so I guess it's another one on my list (been over 10 years now since I last played it ).

I am one of those people

Terminator : Future Shock made me once wanna puke, I had to go to bed and take a rest for hour or two. Same for UT 2004.
But I have no problems with Doom, Quake 1 or 2 or Duke Nukem 3D, Terminal Velocity, Frontier, Elite, F1GP 1,2 or Magic Carpet. Descent is another "throw up" game.

I made a test with me, it doesnt depend on how much I am tired, drunk, overworked. I read somewhere it depends on intensity of light or fast movements in the game. I disagree coz T:FS is very slow game (or I play it in this way ) and Im always running in id games.

Weird. It seems like you have troubles with games that have a more realistic field of vision, while older games with a badly approximated FOV give you no troubles at all.
