Fears German?
While installing stuff for my whdload packs I was hunting high and low for fears in German to install.
I couldn't find it anywhere. It says both German on HOL and German in the readme. I eventually found a 'German' copy but upon loading and playing through it, realised none of it was in german at all. The only noticeable difference was the fact that it had the 'Attic' logo at the start (the publisher in Germany I believe) and the fact that the option to choose your character as human/alien had vanished. Anyone know if a 'german' version actually existed, or if it was only a slightly altered version for the german market with english language?

Hey!
Yes, Attic was the German publisher. They removed some monsters and the saw in this release!! I have the original CD32 version of it. Do you need it? Edit: It´s in English! |

Nah I don't need the CD32 version thanks, the whdload install doesn't support it.
Some great info there, just what I wanted. So the german version is a somewhat censored version for the strange german market? So.. I think German should be removed from languages and a note should be added about the german versions lack of stuff.

I think so, too!
And I don´t know why they censored such a bloodless game. |

Cool, I've given it the tag "censored" instead of german as it's confusing.
Thanks for clearing it up. I didn't notice it was censored because you're right, there is so little blood!
