Lightbulb Stunt Car Racer TNT - Track Editor (preview)

Have a look at the first picture of the Stunt Car Racer TNT Track Editor. I hope that I will release it someday so that the community will be flooded with new tracks...

Hey, you're really good! If I had the programming skills I would attempt this kind of stuff myself. But now I have you instead *whipslash* Go remake more games now! *whipslash*

I would be very interested in how you begin to do something like this - Its very impressive!

Obviously you must find out how the track is stored in memory but how do you add the tracks to the existing game?

This is absolutely friggin awesome! First elite and now stunt car racer. I'm glad your interested enough in retro games to apply your skills Amiger.

I see a "best lap" competition coming up on EAB using custom made tracks! Or even better, online racing if it's possible to simulate serial link. I'm not sure.

Geoff Crammond himself would probably like this software.

Reassembling and patching the disassembled (and cracked) CAPS release of it...

I thought about sending it to him but he didn't answer to my mails some months ago and now I'm in a huff...

A competition would be a great idea...

Great work and all, but.... wouldn't it have made more sense to make this a native Amiga program?

Maybe, but at that point I'm more interested to make experiences in object oriented programming etc. that could help me in more serious situations in life...

I think it already began, being the first product this Stunt Car racer TNT beta he released

Really impressive stuff, I would like an Amiga proggy too, but it's still cool.

I'll make it clear: this is the most exciting thing I've seen in months. I would so much want to use such a masterpiece!

You're way too cool, man. This is really excellent. Congratulations.

When will we have the privilege to test this Holy Piece of Software?

Thanks

No problem about the resurrection of this thread...

I think the editor itself will never be released. One reason is that it was unstable and I'm no more developing in Borland Delphi anymore... But it's great to see this one upcoming again...

Yeah AmiGer, very nice work.

Actually, yes, I thought there would be your editor out there some place to d/l, install & enjoy... But your SCR Mod is really cool.

Do you know this one?:

http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/...hp?topic=50951

It seems to be a BlitzBasic forum page. Unfortunately you can't register unless you have a product serial, and being a guest means ***no forum search***.

Although I regret that the track should look like concrete and extrudes like a ribbon, it's still pretty exciting... no?
