Arrow "Quick Reply" does not work in Konqueror (GNOME; Linux)

On Linux, I can always get KDE's Konqueror in a deadend loop if I try a Quick Reply; it simply does not work.
I have to Go Advanced and send the reply - works.
Either it's an EAB problem or a Konqueror problem.

I hope someone uses this filemanager/browser combo too and can do a little co-testing for me for confirmation. Thanks.

It works in Safari / Tiger, so problem is probably nothing to do with the rendering engine that Safari and Konqueror share.

The moment of truth <holds breath>

Edit: It might be version specific or a Java problem because this reply was made with kdeaddons3-konqueror-3.3.0-10.1/Java-1_4_2-sun-plugin-1.4.2.08-0.1 and quick reply worked just fine.
Edit2: A little more testing reveals that in-place post editing doesn't work in Konqueror though this may be by design rather than a bug.
