Hi All,
Sorry for reviving this old thread, I just got an A601 with 1/2 a Meg of RAM. As the thread is old, the links are not working and the imagery is all gone.. so I dont know what I am looking at. There are places for 3 RAM chips, the one fitted is a 4 megabit one (512K bytes) - I am rather puzzled by 3 spaces (the RTC is obviously not fitted) Can I just pop another 512K chip and all is good in the land? Schematic wanted
Hi all,
If anyone has a schematic for the A601 I woukd be most appreciative as I have 2 or three with battery damage which I would like to fix if possible. Pls upload to the Zone - THANKS !!

The problem is everyone used the name A601. Are yours real CBM A601 or 3rd party? They should be so simple.

I've got x2 CBM A601 cards as per picture. Both are Rev 2A

Two boards going down the drain as I havent been able to find resistor, caps, etc., values. I shall keep on trying and if i do find a fix I'll let you all know....
