Is it possible to connect a cd/dvd-rom? as I have lots of software on cd.

We will make some tests with a USB CD- there should not be any problem to get this working as long as the USB CD drive is self powered.

Hardware accelerated video playback within AmiBench is quite a development challenge- we want to get this released first and then look at adding further expansion possibilities after launch. There are so many rabbit holes to go down with respect to development projects.

Good to hear but how come A600GS can do that when Vampire 4 doesnt unless I need USB Stick that specail Amiga Driver let Vampire 4 know that I got Amiga software stuff of ADF Files.

I had good look at Pre Software installed in A600GS is good but somethings is missing that programming language should be added that but if they are Licence then I can why it hadnt been added.

At a guess, probably because one is an FPGA, mimicking original hardware and adding some new stuff and the other is an emulator running on an arm machine, the emulator can do extra stuff as its not trying to be an amiga but emulate one, having direct adf and other support is a lot easier via emulation.

The Vampire don't have a full USB stack, its USB ports are 1 for keyboard and 2 for mouse/game on the V4SA and only 2 USB for mouse/game on the accelerators.?The V4 has an MicroSD slot for file transfer and on the V4SA you can mount ADF and boot fro that with ApolloFloppy (Only on V4SA because the accelerators usually is in an Amiga with a floppy drive or Gotek).

Good stuff, this system is looking very interesting, this is the direction Aeon/hyperion should have been moving with the AmigaOne brand long ago.

I don't think it is economically feasible to do this. HOWEVER what they could do is look for an existing USB keyboard which has enough keys (windows keys?) and customise them with stickers / wet transfers. (And obviously make the A600GS respond to them)

Custom keycaps from China cost a about 7€ per set, and keyboards are starting 14€. Minium order is 2- 500
