Video Filter (gfx_filter_autoscale) bug
This has been tested with WinUAE 4.9.1 and latest 4.10 (and 4.10.1b0), using basic cfg 1200+4MB fast or A500 (Kick 1.3, OCS, 512+512 Slow) and IPF disk files.
Desert Strike (IPF or WHDLoad is the same...): during intro, gfx glitches in the upper and lower left border of the screen when using filter: Fullscreen (MAX)/(TV) or Auto Integer. Not reproducible with "Default" (gfx_filter_autoscale auto) https://i.ibb.co/rmwmLS5/Hexaae-UAE-...settings-2.png Last edited by hexaae; 29 December 2022 at 18:41. |

Do you mean those short black bars near left border? They are normal, also appear when running on real A500.
EDIT: if you aren't sure if it is filter or just hidden in overscan: select no filters and Display panel Extreme overscan mode. |

Ah, sorry didn't notice a bunch of pixels were actually cut out using Overscan: overscan+Scale: Default!
I confirm it was just another case of wider border visible under WinUAE using some overscan+scaling combos, normally hidden on good old CRT TVs. Last edited by hexaae; 31 December 2022 at 18:29. |
