Will these joypads ever be available for sale again?
Tried one of those Boomerang CD32 recently, and boy... what a piece of utterly crap it was! |

I think I might have a chance to buy one second hand. Do they work with other micros? I know it's a "yes" for C64, how about ST, Atari 800, ZX Spectrum, MSX, CPC?

Yes for C64 if it's the KTRL CD32+ model (note the plus, the original CD32 gamepad and the first KTRL CD32 are note 100% compatible with the C64), Atari ST and 800: yes, MSX: needs an adapter because pinout is different, ZX Spectrum: maybe with the Kempston interface, CPC: No.

You may want other controllers for those platforms. It's a tall order to pull off a truly universal 9-pin design. |
