Given the breakthrough that I had today in regards to Heretic and Hexen no longer crashing in any v4.5.0 betas due to a settings change

See this thread for more details: Heretic & Hexen - crashes in v4.5.0 betas

Here are the updated files, so please just download / extract the following archive into "C:\WinUAE".

When others would just quit, you can rely on DD.
I love your determination.

This one was a hard slog indeed; I've been trying to get Hexen stable for more than 2 months now, and tried all number of things

I'm sooooooooooo happy that it's now working perfectly

Thought I was going to be stuck on WinUAE v4.4.0 because of this... and I always like to use the latest stable version in my collection.

As an added bonus, I just realised the .WAD for Heretic - Deathkings of the Dark Citadel is included on the CD-ROM.

So I've now created an icon to run this also

So, just download / extract this updated archive into "C:\WinUAE".

Thank You for update! I hope some day You will add Diggers [CD32] too, especially because of music during gameplay!

Previously with any MAC / Shapeshifter games in my collection; I relied on wairnair to provide an .HFV file for me...

As I now have some time off, I thought I better learn how to do the following myself:
  • Install the MAC OS.
  • Install StuffIt.
  • Extract ".SIT" or ".SIT_.BIN" files.
  • Mount .IMG files.
  • Create .HFV files.
  • Move the installed game files to the .HFV file.
So after playing around today, and a bit of a headache, I was successful

...as a result; here are the following:

Alone in the Dark 2:

Alone in the Dark 3:

I also had to adjust the "MacJoy" keys for both games in relation to using an Amiga CD32 controller.

Anyway, all done

So please just download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE".

Forgot to mention, in relation to "Alone in the Dark 2".

You get this message when the game starts:
Don't worry though, all sound effect and music are present

...but not the additional audio tracks; as still haven't worked out how to add a CD drive / mount CD-ROMs in Shapeshifter.

I should be able to help with this, am currently refreshing my knowledge and will get back to you soon.

Excellent! I'm looking forward to some time off so I can play this collection. I started the first one just before covid-19... I'm still in the room! Lol

I had a quick bash at both 2 and 3 whilst testing

...must say that they both seem a lot harder than the first one.

Alrighty, here is The Settlers II - Veni, Vidi, Vici for Mac
For some reason though, the audio tracks are not playing, even though the CD-ROM is mounted and I can also see them in "AppleCD Audio Player" (though they don't play there either).

Need to work out why...

Anyway, so just download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE".
