Amithlon was a different approach to emulation, it tosses custom hardware and timing limits out to allow the OS to run as fast as possible on x86 hardware for system friends applications. Timings aren't going to be accurate against real or full emulated Amigas, but I like to compare against other Amithlon systems as it's been very consistent in results.

I can report the same error on my A500. For me, it's triggered if i have Enforcer running. Other config details: Kickstart 2, GVP A530 w/ 030/MMU/FPU, 8MB fast RAM, 1MB chip RAM. There's also a Kickstart switcher with leads to Gary and the keyboard chip. |

Results from the latest 4.4 version with a new comment (Warp 1260 at 100 MHz and 105 MHz). Also, I see the Chip Speed vs A600 has changed.
Thanks for the new versions |

4.4rc2 was the latest beta before the release of 4.4. Version 4.4 is currently the latest public release. If in doubt, you can always use the version command and compare build dates:
Code:
AmigaOs:> version FULL SysInfo_4.4rc2 SysInfo 4.4rc2 (2020-11-10) ©2012-2019 Tobias Geijersson http://sysinfo.d0.se ©1990-1993 Nic Wilson AmigaOs:> version FULL SysInfo_4.4 SysInfo 4.4 (2020-11-11) ©2012-2020 Tobias Geijersson http://sysinfo.d0.se ©1990-1993 Nic Wilson |

I tried today the CLI usage with the flag -p on v4.4 and got a crash. Please see pictures.
I also tried v4.5 Beta12 but seems CLI is broken? |

Thanks for the report. 4.4 should work, strange. 4.5 beta is broken due to lots of refactoring in text handling. Have missed specify that as a known problem. Will be fixed before release of 4.5. |

The last version of SysInfo which seems to give an indication of the DMAC in an A3000 is version 2.0 I think. It reads DMAC Type "Old" for a DMAC-02 and DMAC Type "New" for a DMAC-04.
Is it possible to get this reading in the next update to SysInfo 4? Also, any chance of it detecting the presence of the DSP, for those AA3000 and AA3000+ owners? |

When I try SysInfo 4.1 to 4.3 on an A1200/Vampire 2 with Classic WB 3.9 the machine crashes and locks up. When I run it from early startup, it runs fine. Any ideas why?

But please, don't poke around in the hardware registers. Check for dsp3210.device (unit 0), and see if it opens without an error (or with "BUSY"). If it does not open (or gives ERR_NoDSPs), then you can, if you must, poke around in the hardware. |

So you could try boot to CLI > LoadWB > run software. If it works, some customization in WB (or S-Seq) could cause a crash from any resource normally available unexpectedly not available. For custom hardware such as Vampire, hardware devs must collab with benchmark devs to detect correctly. There could still be a bug in the benchmark software, but it's not always possible to check everything. |
