Moon Patrol is golden also! Okay, time for a game of Karateka.. An updated graphical version would be very sweet, but if the timing is off...it won't go well. Update: Now that I've gotten through the thread I was really, really excited to play. It took some getting used to the keys layout.. Which is better than the joystick mode. Joystick was fantastic for C64). WOW! I'll play it soon with my real A4000 with a CyberStormPPC. With WinUAE is rocked also! I'll donate to you. This doesn't have the movement I am used to with the C64 but.......it's really cool, and with a little adjusting it's pretty fun! For my Amiga, yay! I ended up beating Karateka which is unusual for me to beat a game! I must move onto your Artic Moves conversion. That seems really great!
However I noticed I get a weird error with Dungeon Master! Doesn't let me do much after main screen and I get an error then after and closes down. |

But.............. since I did not read yours I cannot say! I'm sure it was straightforward enough. The reason I did not read the read me file is simply because all the other games worked by double clicking the executable like Super Sprint and Karateka so I figured it was be as the same case. Thanks again for these great conversions though and thanks again for helping with the Dungeon Master, it looks like a great game It's really cool you've put these games on the Amiga platform. |

Just a quick question Meynaf about Artic Moves. I recently got an Apollo 1260 and I noticed today when I tried Artic Moves it was painfully slow. Like barely playable. I don't remember it being like that pre Apollo installation. Might the accelerator have some sort of compatibility issue with the game? I really can't remember it being this slow when I was using my ACA1233n.
I tested Karateka right after and it played same as always at a nice speed. I just thought I'd ask your opinion first. |

Code in Arctic Moves isn't very 060 friendly.
As you should know the 060 is missing a few instructions that have to be emulated, and this game is just full of them. But it probably shouldn't be that slow. Perhaps switching to another version of 68060.library could help. |

I thought they depleted your energy?
Anyways it's unplayable with my 060 It's ok until yo jump then suddenly you get like 2-3 frames per second. When you are on the ground it's not so bad. Tried swapping 060 libraries but didn't make a difference. Oh well can't have it all I guess. |

Or maybe adjust something in the "Amiga Early Startup Control" like "Boot Options..." --> "Disable CPU Caches": Last edited by DamienD; 31 August 2020 at 15:41. |

I suppose that creating a whdload slave would solve the 68060 issues. whdload has a pretty good 68060 emulation.
Are there official download sources for all those ST games? |

Not sure about the floppy though. I could try. Eventually hope to get away from floppies altogether. Could I run from DF1 do you think? I have a gotek in that? Probably not like, but worth an ask. The game seemed great to me before, but the slow fps things is a killer so if I can get round that then hell yeah! There are previous games from this series yes? A WHDA load version would be immensely useful |
