Twister 1200 on Melody 1200
Hi all,
I am currently trying to find information on how to add a Twister 1200 to a Melody 1200. Both manuals explicitely speak about the option to piggy-back the Twister 1200 on the Melody 1200. Unfortunately, I cant find any pictures on the late katodev webpage nor somewhere else. Anyone have an idea with which orientation I should stack them? I have two options, stacked PCBs or PCBs showing in different directions. Attached please find two pics from amiga.resource.cx if that may help of both cards. |

IIRC, the Melody has what is basically a clockport pass-through, so if you have a keen eye and can use a multimeter, you can most likely deduce the correct orientation by examining both. The clockport has two ground connections, one at each end, both in the same row of the connector. If you can figure out which pins they are and match them up, there should only be one way in which it fits.

You should just invest in a multimeter. Should be able to get a half decent one for 5-10 EUR, they're invaluable when dealing with old electronics.

You should probably invest in the basics if you use retro computers a lot - they are often life savers and can get you out of some very sticky situations... and basic a Multimeter, soldering iron, Screw driver set are pennies on ebay or amazon really... It would be well worth the investment.
