Got me confused there for a bit...Is Rim for Rimmen??
Finishing first campaign in Battletech. After playing Surviving Mars for a while, followed by quick game of Stellaris, this seemed like a good fit in theme... I did play bit Mass Effect, first game, on xBox one. (just like PC, right ![]() This will take bit longer, since I don't have much free time. ![]() @OP - there is similar thread in retro gaming sub-forum. Most of us post there what we are playing regardless if is PC, console or anything else. |

Same here. This said, I've noticed not so long ago someone at Classic Retro Games made a surprisingly competent PC port of Soldier Of Light aka Xain'D Sleena, so, at last, one can forget about all the abysmal ports out there and finally get to play that awesum Technos
run 'n gun without having to deal with mame intricacies. |

Was playing Wolfenstien New Order, but then got distracted by my GoG version of Return to Castle Wolfenstien. GOD that game holds up imho.
Then a couple of nights ago I discovered Sinclair Spectrum emulators....... |

Any of the Borderlands games before Borderlands 3 (again mostly coop with my partner nowadays) Factorio on and off Civilization 6 on and off Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove, I'll probably not be playing this for very long as it isn't very good. Quote:

What emulator did you use? Too bad RGL is not running anymore. (Something to do with nintendo etc.) Wonder what would you say if you discover batocera and install it on an old laptop, like someone here... and once you copy some romz and setup even little details.... [ Show youtube player ] I have this on laptop that can run couple of hours on batteries... little wonder machine. |

Using Spectaculator 30 day trial for windows at the moment to just test it out. http://www.spectaculator.com/downloads/ Once I turned on the FULL load sequence as if loading from Tape, and turned ON the full "TV Effects", all on my new 15" Laptop, I must say, Im impressed. What better use for a Ryzen 5 than 8 Bit colour clash goodness? ![]() |

Yes yes, modern day software development concerns itself with development ease rather than storage space. Bolt on any library and framework readily available to not have to roll your own solutions for problems that have already been solved 30 times, use data files as unpacked as possible so it can instantly be rendered / played back...
Bloat is not by definition bad, it's just an effect. Heck... put a game that is 400k in front of someone and a game that is 7mb. They'll likely assume the 7mb version to be better, because it's bigger. |

That's the size after I had it repacked with 7zip. Actual size is 14160Kb (total size, minus the readme's). At the rate things are going, the empire invasion will have swept the place before the actual running and gunning has taken place
