When gog.com doesn't have what I'm looking for, then I'm searching local selling website like Gumtree, and even when this fail, eBay should have all I want. Albeit at higher price point.

For games not available on GOG, I have used the site www.old-games.com. All DOS games available have DOSBox-installers, so they can be run easily.

It's extremely slow unless you pay a fee, but a month's access is $10, and for that you can pretty much get everything that is not for sale anywhere.

yeah I'm doing this as well. gog is great for instant gratification but I also want to source boxed editions of the games I had back in the day.

Xwing
Gunship 2K
TFX
Duke3d
Doom
Vice City
Return to Castle Wolfenstien
Frontier Elite II

...to name a few, but the above at least are games I "need" boxed lol.

I love GOG though. I have a fully kitted out wish list, and just buy them when i get the "item now on sale" email. It's so cool.
