I'll try to come this time with an Amy-ITX 030/RTG + FPGA replay and its 060 daughter board.

Just another wee reminder - the meet is on Sunday!
If you're coming and bringing kit, please bring extension reels and multiway plugs as well! These old halls are not massively overendowed with power sockets |

Hi guys,
I’m going to try and come along tomorrow. Just to confirm that this is the church on the corner of dinmont road and not the one on the corner of pollokshaws road? Robert |

Sorry - no, we're not quite at that point yet, plus we're pretty sure it's not that exciting yet either |

Scottish Amiga Users Meetup - Edinburgh!
Hello everyone! The next Scottish Amiga Users meetup has been booked for Sunday, the 8th of September. In a change from the usual venue in Glasgow, this meetup will take place in Fife. The venue is Rosyth Rugby Club, Harley Street, Dunfermline, KY11 2NE, and it'll take place from 1pm until 7pm. In another departure from the usual setup, there'll be a bar service available for anyone interested in a tipple...
Everyone's welcome, entry is free but donations towards the cost of the venue would be greatly appreciated. |

A little bump for our east Coast of Scotland meetup that's happening in a bit over a week. As well as a lot of machines to have a look at and play with, there'll be the obligatory SWOS tournament on the big screen, and a demonstration of some of the methods used to customise the look of a standard Workbench installation.

Thanks, indigolemon. Can't say I will put up much of a fight in SWOS, think I played it a couple of times 20 odd years ago

Yeah, I abstained the last time - it was definitely more my brothers game than mine!

Scottish Amiga Users Christmas Meetup
We're back in Glasgow for the Christmas meetup of the Scottish Amiga User Group, which will be held on Sunday the 8th December from 12 noon until 6pm, and will be in our regular venue - The Shawlands Church Hall, 111 Mossside Road, G41 3TP. Crossmyloof train station is nearby, and is only a few minutes from Glasgow Central. There'll be plenty of Amigas old and slightly less old to see and play with, and some other interesting retro gear too.
Events for the day are yet to be confirmed, but we'll have the obligatory SWOS tournament, and I will be giving a short presentation on the ins and outs of the Amiga Startup-sequence. Tea and coffee will be available in the hall on the day, and there are nearby shops and cafes for grub if needed. It takes place from 12 noon-6pm, and after that we'll head to a local establishment for some food and drinks. Tables will be available for anyone wishing to bring their own gear, and people are welcome to turn up from 11:30 for setting up. There should be plenty of tables available, but let me know if you'd like one and I'll reserve one for you. Please bring extension leads as sockets are limited in the hall. Entry is free, though donations towards the cost of the hall would be greatly appreciated Last edited by Daedalus; 06 November 2019 at 22:02. |

Hoping to finally make it down to your meetup.
Unfortunately I am working the next day and it is about a 4 and 1/2 hour drive back home so would have to scoot off at 6pm. I will also need to check with my brother that if he has any space on his couch that weekend. |

Great, looking forward to my second meet. Please put me down for a table as I'd like to bring along my A600.
