I posted this at the TOSEC forum a while back:

Games - ADF:
Code:
Khalaan (1990)(Rainbow Arts)(Disk 1 of 2)[h SCX]

Sector 936 of type >>File Header<< is damaged
Sector 940 of type >>OFS Data<< is damaged

Calculate fingerprints for this ADF :
SHA1 : 65B404E6326FA758C59D1B8911211FA196F7E102
MD5 : A55377C004DDB86B507BE02D5AFBC3AB
CRC32 : 39AD4BA7
bad disk

Games - SPS:
Khalaan (1990)(Rainbow Arts)[1433] should be Khalaan (1990)(Rainbow Arts)(DE)[1433] as it's a german only version.

more than likely no reason to mark as bad.
probably this blocks are leftovers of unneeded overwritten files!

Khalaan (1990)(Rainbow Arts)(Disk 1 of 2)[h SCX]
39AD4BA7
It's a bad dump. 2 sectors were badly readed and 1 blanked

The complete Khalaan set has been checked, completed and corrected.
Thank you

Yup, see this thread: Lure of the Temptress - game issue

Although shouldn't they be renamed to:

Lure of the Temptress v2 (1992-08-06)(Virgin)(Disk 1 of 4)(Boot)[cr Flashtro].adf
Lure of the Temptress v2 (1992-08-06)(Virgin)(Disk 2 of 4)(A)[cr Flashtro].adf

it's just the 2nd known revision of the game in its english version. This is not official. No change for this reason

Not sure I follow; why is this not official? "Virgin Games" fixed the bug.

See the "Notes" on the HOL entry:

Quote:
"Early editions of the Amiga version have a bug which only becomes apparent when you are near the end of the game. If you are using a saved game you will be unable to exit from the Gate room in the Castle. Virgin Games have fixed this bug and if you send them your discs they will supply replacements. The discs in the debugged version are clearly marked * VERSION 2 *. If in doubt pull down the "INFO" menu and select information. The release date on the bugged version is 17-6-92 and on the debugged version 6-8-92."
Plus the disks from Retroplay's first post in the thread Lure of the Temptress v2 show * VERSION 2 *:

Just going through my ADF rips... seeing if I can spot anything mine might fix / alternative.

In the TOSEC listings their is the following
"Fit Chicks (19xx)(Network 12)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 2)"

I have this listed as
"TM Slideshow (19xx)(Network 12)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 2)".

This is how I wrote the disk label back in the 80's/90's.
Also, If I open in workshow tool ...

Disk name : <TMSlide01D1>

Any ideas who has it named correctly?
Also, the version in TOSEC seems to have been modified.

S/Mainloop -- Seems to show marked as deleted (CRC:99C399EA)
and then replaced with S/mainloop (CRC:659DDBB1)
And some lost contents : !FIL-$3C7

I need to just check 1 file in my rip, and then I can upload the fixed version. But just wondered about the naming, and or marking this existing version as being modified?

Here are 2 disks that I created which you may want to include in the next TOSEC release:

Ace the Space-Case (1995-04-12)(Grand Master Design)(PD)[h DamienD].adf
Unlike the disks currently in TOSEC, this no longer requires Workbench as the required "Libs" have been copied to disk. See this post.

Bacman (1992)(Krysztofiak, Freddy)(AGA)(SW)[h DamienD].adf
Unlike the disks currently in TOSEC, this can be run on a standard 2MB AGA Amiga and doesn't require 3MB of RAM. Loading time is also much quicker.

Unfortunately not, it's still the preview but doesn't require 3MB of RAM to play like the rest currently in TOSEC...

I named it the same way as the other TOSEC files.

I'd imagine if / once the full version is found it would be named something like: Bacman (1992)(Krysztofiak, Freddy)(AGA)(SW-R).adf

Yep, it's difficult to search for stuff through the files

Only a "simple" text search on the filename can be done

@TOSEC guys; please read this thread: Future Tank - all cracks bad...

All disks currently in TOSEC are bad and have corrupt graphics on level 3 so should have the following flag attached "[b checksum error]":
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][a highscore].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][a2 highscore].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][h Tristar].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][h Tristar][a].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][h Tristar][a2].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][t +12 GFL - DOM].adf
  • Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][t +12 GFL - DOM][a].adf
ross has put a fully working file "Future Tank (1988)(Rainbow Arts)[cr BFBS][f 100% ross][t +12 GFL - DOM].zip" in The Zone!

Compact #072 (1991)(Skid Row)[b corrupt file].adf BEDD28CE
is actually #073, check disk name.
Code:
Disk Format : Bootable DOS disk
 - Block Allocation Map was found in sector 1087
 - Disk name : <Compact #73>
 - Filesystem creation : 1991.06.30 01:10:38
 - Last root alteration : 1980.09.12 05:12:34
 - Last disk alteration : 1980.09.12 05:13:01
 - Rate of filling : 98.34% (based on BAM information)
 - Rate of filling : 98.34% (based on sectors identification)
...fixed, mai
I've zoned the real #072 plus a few more not "TOSEC'ified".
...added, mai

have removed [b] flag, since damaged file "ep-demo.exe" is not meant to be part of this compact disk.

Error in referencement in Tosec: It's not the DX v1.1, it's the v1.0 for Flashtro

/Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC/TOSEC [2016-01-03]/Commodore Amiga - Games - Public Domain - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2015-12-28_CM)/Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard, The v1.1 (2013-04-21)(BlackJet)[t +4 Flashtro].zip

No flashtro for v1.1

I don't think it's named incorrectly Aladin.

These are all the Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard & DX files currently in TOSEC:
  • Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard DX, The v1.0 (2013-07-19)(BlackJet).zip
  • Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard DX, The v1.1 (2013-07-30)(BlackJet).zip
  • Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard, The (demo-playable) (2012)(BlackJet).zip
  • Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard, The v1.0 (2013-04-13)(BlackJet).zip
  • Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard, The v1.1 (2013-04-21)(BlackJet).zip
  • Incredible Adventures of Moebius Goatlizard, The v1.1 (2013-04-21)(BlackJet)[t +4 Flashtro].zip
The trained Flashtro version doesn't say "DX" in the filename...
