A600 sound stopped working out of nowhere

Annnnddd.... the problem came back.

I turn on my A600, I have all channels playing, but usually after some minutes using it (sometimes after more than an hour), I lose 2 audio channels. No matter if I have the RED or the WHITE cable plugged, or both, I only hear 2 audio channels (always the same 2 audio channels, either on the red or white side). It's similar to problem I had before, but now even flexing the board doesn't seem to do anything.


Sometimes the channels go missing after sometime using it. Sometimes they are not there even coming from a cold start. And sometimes I just turn it off and on again, and the channels are back (but go away after a some time again).

And I've noticed sometimes the "missing channels" don't go away completely, they just stay very very low, like Akira saind in post #25

The Caps on this board were changed about 3-4 years ago and they are high-quality caps.


Time for a new reflow, or does someone believe it could be some cap dying?

I sometimes wonder if its something wrong with the power supply, as it has been pointed out on this thread before, thing is I have THREE different Amiga power Supplies... one doesn't give me sound at all, while the other 2 have this same behaviour. Never messed with any of those power supplies (They still have the same caps and everything else since they were bought like 25+ years ago.. the older one, that came with my dad's A500 even has some rusty on its connector)

Amiga power supplies are easy to recap. Big capacitors mostly, any guy with the hardware to make it will do it without any problem.
