That's your opinion, but I still prefer to use DOpus 4.17pre21 on WB 3.9. Ok, it don't has all of the features of DOpus5, but more important, it has non of the bugs of DOpus5. And 5.9x is even worse than 5.82! No thanks.

Peter I'm just announcing it, but I'm really interested in reading this manual.

I'm not anyone to tell it's the best, but I've got the idea that you could help making your suggestions and that they would be taken into account, just to make it better. Just as an example, PFS3AIO had some problems, but listening to some inputs now it's the best&faster file system ever.

In any case, IMHO, DOpus is the way to go. It won't boot so fast, but then you've got -again IMHO- the best and fastest options available with a few clicks.

Also, have you tried the version 5.9 that is commented?. As it seems you've done, then you should share what's wrong with it I believe.

I just think that you should explain more exactly what you don't like creating a new Thread as this is the News one.

Sorry for being offtopic, but are there really any news about DOpus 5.9x, except for the new documentation ?

I don't want to bother you here with some icon related bugs in DOpus5, which I tried to bypass so that you won't notice them any longer. But I cannot fix all of them. Just move an icon around on the screen and watch how much memory gets lost. ChipMem consumption is another problem. And what has been done to fix AfA_OS issues with DOpus 5.9x since 2014?

Btw., last update was 10/2016. Has DOpus5.9 development stopped?

@peterk

definitely there have been issues that are not that easily seen under ng systems the updated version is mainly used. i have noticed the difference when testing the genuine version against the updated one on aros 68k. more in depth analysis and engagement would certainly help.

edit: btw, must really have been related, since it was quite a delay when listing dirs. probably you added some workaroud.

I think the Document rocks, and I'll check into it. I adore DOpus 5.xx and 4.xx. I use both with 68K and PPC. Appreciate the news.
