Some LHA files work as WHDLoad, others don't
Hello,
I'm using FS-UAE (2.8.3u2) on Ubuntu 17.04 with FS-UAE Launcher. When trying to load WHDLoad games compressed as ZIP files, it works without issues. When using LHA archives, the results vary. Basically, some of them load fine but with others, I get an error message from WHDLoad after boot saying it can't find the .slave file. I've noticed that in the launcher, in the WHDLoad arguments box, those that work display the single file name (like "Explora2Fr.Slave") while those that don't display a kind of subfolder with an entity string (like "Explora3Fr%5fExplora3Fr.Slave" − %5f is supposed to be the entity for an underscore I think). Any idea where this could come from? I suspect that the issue is related to the original encoding of the files in the archive (likely ISO-8859-1 while Ubuntu uses UTF-8) but it's likely the case for the ones that work too, so I'm not sure if it's part of the problem. |

Hi, please try the latest development version instead. The support for running WHDLoad games like this has been much improved.
