Attached a new beta, supporting ACA1221ec. Please note, that ACAMapROM now supports ACA1221, too. So you won't need ACATune anymore for that card.
+ support for ACA1221ec + new function: ACA1221_MapROM + ACAMapROM (included) now supports ACA1221 & ACA1221EC + API change: new functions start with "ACA1221_" now + fixed & updated assembly includes + new function: ACA1221_GetStatus + updated autodocs Coders who wrote stuff based on ACA1221.library have to change function names and recompile, sorry. Won't concern anyone, most likely. Please write bugreports here and describe your config in detail. If you connect your 1221(EC) to an ACA500(+), make sure the ACA500(+) works without the additional accelerator, first! Last edited by bubbob42; 25 August 2017 at 10:42. |

just bought a 1221ec a couple of weeks ago and found this updated software. Gonna give it a try - just a quick question (not particularly related to this update). How does the Ramdisk feature work? Its always mentioned in the feature description but I can find no further details anywhere. Does it somehow just make the extra RAM automatically available to the build in RAM: device or is there some additional setup required?

It was the same with the ACA620. The software to use the extra memory as a ram disk was not available despite from the marketing it sounded like it was. Luckily Toni released a tool for it after a little while:
http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/aca620rd Not sure if they are working on something similar for the ACA1221ec. |

So I see that amigakit now has neither ACA 1221 nor ACA1221EC. This makes me sad, because I was just getting ready to pull the trigger on a 1221EC. Now what?

But yes, the old 1221 was a bit cheaper if you didn't upgrade it (i think most people did however ). |

I want the EC model, so long as I can get it at 28 MHz. 16 MHz is not enough But I don't need boatloads of RAM. |

IIRC, the tools shared with the ACA1233n are also compatible, but I'm not sure - some months passed since I touched the code. |
