Ok. @alenpcc & @EzdineG I'm confused by the messages here. Lets see if i can summarize.

1. Alliance RAM works?
2. ISSI RAM Fails the systest tests if A21 is connected?
3. ISSI RAM Passes the systest tests if A21 track is cut?
4. ISSI RAM with Frontier crashes even if A21 is cut?

*By A21 Cut i mean the line to PIN 25 of the RAM Chips on the TF530 Rev 3.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes (also the case if not cut but w/ sparkle firmware.)
4. Yes

Edit: I just desoldered said pin from each chip on Rev 3. Never actually cut the trace.

The answer is Yes to all these points.

4. Not just frontier, also other games crash after a while (e.g. Superfrog).

Anyone tried a TF530 in a 1000? Curious if it physically fits with the floppy drive in place, and if it actually works (assuming you have a kickstart switcher with 2.05+ installed).

Doesn't work. I think there are timing issues

I've built a rev3 to try in mine, I'm waiting for my offset board from dirtypcb's before I can actually put it in place to see how it will physically work with the floppy in place but eyeballing it it looks like the floppy will fit. Electrically I'll have no idea how it will respond until I have some sort of kickstart adapter. Hopefully it will at least try to boot. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

If you skip to 1:50 you can see how it will be positioned when mounted.

I tried, it won't boot on A1000.
It also won't fit with the floppy, but it fits with kipper's relocator board for the A1000.

Bummer, I was hoping that it would at least do something when turned on. What revision is your motherboard?

Hmm I have no idea, but it's an early NTSC version.

More mystery with RAM chips:

I bought Alliance chips from these two providers in china

AS7C4096-12TCN:
http://www.ebay.es/itm/AS7C4096B-12T...72.m2749.l2649

AS7C4096A-12TI:
http://www.ebay.es/itm/10PCS-AS7C409...72.m2749.l2649

They dont work at all (board wont boot). Both chips supposed to be 12ns.... Maybe they are rebranded chips, but it would be strange that both sellers have rebranded chips TBH.

Changing the RAM chips to these ones (AS7C4096A-12TIN bought locally at RS Components) fix the problem and the board runs fine:

it isn't a big wonder, as the chips from china are marked as AS7C4096B
and you need AS7C4096A
changig them to AS7C4096A-12TIN is solving your issue - so nothing wrong here

Judging for the datasheets both chips are very similar, being the AS7C4096A more power efficient. I will look closely to both datasheets to see what differences really are.

Also, the chips from the 2nd link are AS7C4096A and they do not work either...

By the way, do you still have some relocator boards available?
