DEMShade - 1996 Pontari Productions added

finaly we have some surface levels on those DEM models, but should work with any object.
another hint by alkis: those functions have to get wrapped by XCALL_ macros in the source code

AmigaWave made a Lightwave pack preassigned an configured with lot of extras, objects, scenes, textures, plugins, FPU and non FPU versions ready to unpack and run, all preconfigured. For Amigas 00,020,030,040, 060 and Vampire.

We need add some plugins stuff from this thread to this pack.

This Lightwave compilation, have LightWave 5.2 for FPU users and LightWave 3.5 for Vampires and Amigas without FPU ( i don't know a non FPU LW k'ed version up to 3.5 ). All preconfigured and ready to copy and use.

CONTENT DESCRIPTION

v1.1

-Replaced LightWave 5.2 fpu for LightWave 5.0r fpu (this is the last Newtek LightWave
for Amiga) versions like 5.1 or 5.2 was fake cracked versions.
Thanks to Muadib user from EAB for this information.
-Fixed some config paths, and clean some configs and plugins files.
-Some minor tweaks for use LightWave FPU and Modeler FPU with MorphOS from Ambient.
Not tested with AmigaOS4 but i think it should be works too.
For MOS and AmigaOS i'm recomend use an screenpromoter like NewMode (included here)
or ModePro.

@Kikems Good work, but please correct your LW5.2 version to 5.0r, which was the last one released for the Amiga. Versions 5.1 and 5.1 are hacked ones. You can distinguish the correct version because 5.0r has the 'Enhanced' Antialiasing options under Camera tab, while the hacked ones do not.

Thanks , later i'll checkit and update. I don't know that the enhanced aliasing versions exists for Amiga.

yes. see here and here.

two more Image Filter Plugins - WIP: VidMixer and VidHUD
they crash LW with some options, but you will get an idea what it's ment to be

added new PlugIns to the ftp:

Kevman VidLines - LW Image Filter Plugin
Kevman Lampy - LW Surface Shader PlugIn
Kevman ImProc - LW Image filter PlugIn
RGBShift - LW Image Filter Plugin
Fader - LW Surface Shader Plugin
Gooze - LW Displacement Plugin

Fader is based on Blinker, but it does now fade between the max and min value in the given period.
this is some kind of Envelope for Surface attributes. Thanks to Photon for the math

Gooze: melt does work with a static, non moving objects. while ooze will handle animated objects,
those moving below groundplabe, will be melted.

#1) all plugins are now in emu/Lightwave/00-PlugIns/ folder
#2) Kevman plugins comes with txt files, describing the plugin/settings.

#3) Plugins now save and load it's settings. thanks again alkis
download the new version!

#4) Surface Shader: if you use such plugin on a surface, you have to save the object.
this way the properties of the object are preserved.
the setting are not saved in the Scene file.

Updated link for LightWaveFull_AW v1.1. For next releases i'll try to load all plugins from this thread.

Here a small promo i made for AmigaWave, made in HD with this recopilation of LightWave on MacMini MorphOS machine. All was done in LightWave Amiga except text layers and audio sync.

Back and testing.
Bman's Gooze plugin:
It seems I already had a goo.p plugin with size 68752, compared to the one I DLed today, size 14428.
However, the behaviour is exactly the same. Loads and works nice.
Melt mode is motion independent, while Ooze mode depends on whether and how much the object goes through Y-axis ground.
The Melt Object Size does not seem to have any effect, though.


Bman's Blinking Shader :
Loads and works nice.
Its behaviour is not transitional, however. For example, for a period of 10 frames,
the Period 1 value is valid up to frame 9, followed by Period2 value which is valid from frame 10 to frame 19 etc.
Is ti what you guys get, too?

@emufan, how do you add animations like the ones you added on post #229 ?


Plugins tested so far only on UAE... Be back with more tests
