R1 needs to be < 5K for use with the latest firmware. I recommend 1K but 4K7 might be ok too.

None of the real hard drives get recognized. The cable length seems to matter also.
Let's see if I have a smaller resistor to try on the 36 mhz. |

The lowest I found in my parts drawer was 2.2K, so I fitted that. The card still won't boot without an IDE device connected to it, so I guess 1k works out better.
Still getting the same data corruption as before though. Using a 5 cm cable now. |

Whiteb, yes I built a few rev 2s - it's a terrific accelerator, we just need to iron out a couple of bugs

SKick works on non-MMU processors. Only supports common ROMs and memory won't be write-protected.

Could anybody test what happens with CF card connected to the TF530 IDE with a cable? Also, if possible, what happens when you have master and slave devices connected?

Well, this was unexpected. I found a configuration that does not cause IDE data corruption.
This is it: What this is, is a SATA drive connected through SATA->IDE adapter. I have no idea why this works (using the same cable too) but the CF Cards do not work on my system. I can copy files back and forth, boot, read them just fine, no corruption at all. Huh. What speed does this achieve, you may ask? This is with CPU FASTROM option active. Much slower without it. So I guess there is a bug somewhere in the IDE code. |

Just caught your latest stream; great work on the ST. Any word on the MHz specific Jed files? I've just signed up for twitter and asked the same thing, but I'm not sure if I sent you the question or asked it to myself. It's not familiar territory. |
