Issues with Pale Moon browser
It seems there are problems with the browser's native user agent string, which is currently (on my system):
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:3.0) Goanna/20170302 PaleMoon/27.1.2 For example, drop-down arrows are missing and categories like Quick Links are being un-grouped. I am guessing the lack of the "Gecko" or "Firefox" words are causing some confusion to the forum. Switching to the browser's default "Gecko-compatibility" string below solves the issue, but reveals that some nasty user-agent sniffing is probably going on. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:3.0) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/20170302 PaleMoon/27.1.2 |

One possible cause, is an old issue of the Mobile_Detect PHP class, which confuses the website (EAB in this case) to think it's Goa mobile device instead of a desktop browser using the Goanna rendering engine.
Thus, a mobile version is served instead of the proper desktop one. This Mobile Detect bug has been solved for quite some time now. |

Strange, it works normally for me with the latest Palemoon (updated itself today).
I use "Firefox Compatibility" option. |

Yes, it works by default because the "Gecko compatibility" mode is set as the default (Options/Advanced/General). Try setting that to 'Native' and refresh the page.

It's working fine here. I don't see the option you mention in "Options/Advanced/General".

Yes, if i set Native, it does things you describe. But i do not see a reason why to disable FF compatibility.

Yes, FF/Gecko modes work for now but it's mostly a principle thing. We are dangerously close to an exclusive Google/Microsoft-owned Web (even Firefox is losing ground to Chrome rapidly), so pretending to be a mainstream browser to make websites work instead of promoting a browser-independent Web, doesn't seem right. Also note that the FF-compatibility mode pretends to be an older Firefox version (not the latest) so that might cause you similar issues on other websites. |

Palemoon has Mozilla core anyway.

Yes, but that was more true in the past. Now they are quite different browsers and soon, Firefox will only support the WebExtensions type of extensions. This will irreversibly make Firefox actually closer to Chrome than to... Firefox (the one we once knew).
Anyway, this is not just about Pale Moon but browser-sniffing in general, a practice that only hurts non-mainstream browsers. As an Amiga user, I'm overly sensitive about such things! |

It does not appear, but it will appear if you disable ad-blocking (it appears normally here when I disable uBlock Origin for Lemon Amiga). It's funny that the ad-blocker actually blocks an ad in this case, even though it shouldn't!

Wasn't there an 'Unsubscribe' option in the Thread Tools drop-down menu, when clicked while on a subscribed thread? I always see a subscribe option, both Pale Moon and IE.
