Calling all Norwich Amiga users...
After a discussion with fellow EAB member Sir_Lucas when I met him last month, we have become suitably inspired to try and set up some sort of group for any Amiga users in the surrounding area. There seems to be a few in Norwich and Norfolk so I thought I'd see what the response would be
So for starters, we've arranged to meet in a pub one evening just for a casual get-together, drinks, Amiga chat (amongst other things no doubt)... just to see how we get on and if we can move towards having a 'real' Amiga event somewhere in the local area. Why not come and join us? Date: Saturday 25th March Time: 7:30pm Venue: Coachmakers Arms, St Stephens Road Everybody welcome. Post here or let me know if you want to come or have any questions/ideas and the like. Cheers |

I'm Thetford way, all good to get to Norwich easily from here and am interested in meeting up with other Amiga fans for sure.

If only this was for the weekend before!
I have always wanted a local retro-computer and Amiga club close by! |

Cheers guys, look forward to seeing you there in just over a month's time
Sorry the date is wrong for you Zetr0, would have been great to meet you - however I am sure other occasions will present themselves in the near future. |

Interesting, I'm not sure if I'll make that one, but I may be able to make another.
I'm down the road a bit in Suffolk |

Bump! Just a reminder this is still going ahead and is now only a fortnight away
If people who are close by can't make it on this occasion that is a shame but hopefully you can come next time. In the meantime, if anyone knows anyone else who might be interested, please spread the word, thanks |

Set an event up on Facebook if people are on that so if anyone wants to come, they won't forget or anything

Bump
Sorry, not too many more gratuitous plugs to go now... This is still on for Saturday so if you're in the area, do feel free to come and join us! There have been several expressions of interest so I'll be pleased if we can five or six come along. |

See you there
If anyone else locally is thinking of joining us, I'll be in a red t-shirt with the classic Amiga tick logo on for easy identification |

Yes, it was very enjoyable. Big thanks for coming out, and we'll certainly do it again.
Encouraging also to see people would be interested in coming, just that the date didn't quite work for them. I'm thinking of doing another one in maybe late May/early June perhaps? If anyone would think that could work for them let me know Also, I think there is definitely potential in an all-day (or most-day, at least) event, with various machine set up and games, demos and the like on display and in action - either in Norwich itself or elsewhere in Norfolk. If anyone's got any suggestions for venues that could be looked into, again post here or give me a shout |

Well done guys, I'll do my best to make the next one once work allows it. It looks like there is no direct flight from Dublin to Norwich but my wife is a ninja at finding cheap routes without too much redirection.
Glad to hear you all had a good time |
