Unofficial CD32 Release - Ye Olde Pirate Collection

I don't normally do requests for CD32 compilations, mainly because they take more time to put together than people think, but since this guy has been always there to post about my new releases around the net i thought it only fair to oblige this time.

So Neil (IndieRetroNews) this one is for you, hope you like it!

Game Selection Screen

As you have probably gathered by now its a Pirate compilation with 4 Piratey games!
  • Pirates! (Microprose) - Original Pirates! game, unfortantely on a CD32 you can't save the progress, but i have included a save game with gold a plenty to help you along the way!
  • Traps & Treasures (Starbyte/Krisalis) - Cracking Piratey platform game.
  • Skull & Crossbones (Domark) - Port of the arcade game, two players.
  • Pirates Gold! (Microprose) - Full CD32 release with all the CD audio.

Many thanks for the original WHDLoad slave writers;
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Pirates! - JOTD
Traps & Treasures - Codetapper
Skull & Crossbones - Abaddon

JTOD - thanks for the awesome CD32Load.
Creators of WHDLoad for allowing this great program to go freeware.
Earok - I'm sure its still worth thanking you regardless!
Colin Attle
- For the Pirates! Saved game file.
And anyone else I've missed or used their utility unknowingly on this CD.

Enjoy this release! And as usual check the Rar file for the readme with game controls and cover art to go with it.

Download is on the eab server uploads/cd32 folder*

Nice, I'm sure that Monkey Island would fit that collection too

Cheers guys!

@Gzegzolka - i did toy with the idea, but adding more games and finding saved games is time consuming and the disc was just for a favour for Neil.

I think a Lucasfilm/arts and Sierra disc would be great but we need project hermes to be released so we can save to floppy disk.

God damn that's a nice idea for a menu

@AmigaJay Our 160 game compilation has saves for the MI games, in turn they were stolen from Gary's big compilations

Edit: Though maybe one of us should do a LucasArts collection, hmm..
