Level 78.... wow

Are the levels random, pre-defined or do they loop after a certain number. For example, when you reach 50 does it go back to the start?

Pre-defined. There are 99 levels in all. It doesn't loop and the final level goes on until you die.

Played 3 games of it.
First score = 632,500
Second score = 691,200

Had never played this game before. I can see me playing it a lot more for the next days, the game is really a lot of fun to play.

I am no big fan of score systems based on not dying (Playing for a longer time should be rewarding enough for not dying, and I prefer a score system with a risky/reward style.. not dying is exactly the opposite of "being risky"). I am no big fan of the "Explosions that destroy playfied" thing, since it doesn't affect you very often, but then when it does, it's kinda annoying. The enemies coming from behind are really mean, and I wish enemies didn't point blank me so much.

All of those are very small nags, because the game is really a lot fun to play. So far the best game on the league this season.

Graham, I believe you have no more extra lives when you reach level 99.. and level 99 probably sends you all types of enemy?

Gave one more go at it before bed:

I think I'll hit a wall very soon on this... though I am developing some interesting strategies for certain types of enemies...

I really like how from time to time the game gives you an easier level to chill, and then at other points a really really mean level to deal with (level 54 for example is pure evil).

Yeah, because level 99 goes on indefinitely, you can't obtain any extra lives so you're stuck with what you have until they're all gone. I'm not sure if it sends all the enemies at you but certainly there's several different ones and it's very difficult. As the round goes on, performance on that level may well sort the men from the boys.

Hm, I'd lose 35 years to be a boy again. That's an option, I'll have to think about twice.

Anyway, I would be very glad if I'd be able to get to level 50 in this game.

If I just reach level 99 I'll be very happy, even if I stick to being a boy

Where is everyone? It's awfully quiet on the EAB front right now compared to Lemon

Not a fan of this game I find it very annoying. Reminds me of Mutant Camels in it's "hold fire and hope for the best" nature.

I am playing the WHDLOAD version of this, and my keyboard doesn't work.

It's just on this game. I can't pause, start 2 players game or quit.

Not being able to pause is really annoying. I was playing it right now and my phone begun ringing ,and I couldn't answer it!

I'm always wondering why WinUAE users are using the WHDload version?

The adf of the CUAmiga version is working in turbo mode under UAE, so POD has probably started before any WHDload setup got to the Workbench screen at all.
