That's the first score of the season to be submitted, and score table is duly created

Temporary hitch - it appears to be working on the 'old' points system (i.e. first place gets 15 points and not 20) but don't worry too much about that for now

Never played this, and I'll have to play it on emulator since my machine is not an AGA one.

Is there anyway to reset high-scores? That version from PlanetEmu already has some highscore saved which makes me reaching the highscore table even harder.

I gave a quick go at the game, and I am just juggling balls randomly without much idea of how to score properly

Also, playing Pinball games where I can't see the whole table nowadays feels really weird. It was freaking awesome back at Pinball Dreams days, nowadays it just feels wrong

To reset high score table type wipeout when the table is loaded.

There is a key (F9 or F10) that can change the resolution of the game into hi-res thus making the whole table to be visible (AFAIR).

I got into the high-resolution mode when I got multiball on the Pirates table.

You don't get the whole table, but a big chunky of it

Still better than nothing ;-)

As Ransom pointed out, I mixed up the keys with Pinball Illusions.

Shame this was released so late on the Amiga life, and AGA only.

My first impression of it wasn't very good, because I only tried out the Mean Machines table, which isn't so good.

But the other 3 are really very well designed, the physics are very good, the tables are well varied and each table has some really nice games on it.

I just need to understand the score mechanics of all tables... that score on the Pirate table was done without playing ONE SINGLE "Adventure".

My biggest issue with this game is very simple, in fact there are two issues which prevent this from being the ultimate pinball thrill ride. First, unlike most pinball games, there is no central pin - so if the ball is heading straight down the middle there is no way to nudge or tilt it, or save it from going straight down the hole (I have tried hitting space rapidly). Secondly, out of perhaps 20 losses due to falling down the side traps, 3 were saved by the Kickback, 1 was saved because I jumped over the hole and the ball was going so quickly it popped up out of the opposite down shoot, but all the rest were lost. Even with Obsession is was possible to rescue a ball, but its almost impossible with this.

Yes, if anyone can offer tips on how to play these tables, I think it would help everyone. Do check both threads for help and advice so that we actually figure out whats going on here.

The last table does actually have a central pin. I was surprised to see this on only one table.

Many pinball tables did not have a central pin. The nudge here is very weak, it's indeed very hard to save a ball. On the options you can configure keys to nudge left and right, but they move the ball too litltle.

On mean machine how do you get 8000 points on that mini game by hitting the flippers. I hit the flippers left right so fast and can only get about 6800 points before the time runs out?

Also the racing mini game. I can only do 2 Laps. Has anyone made it to 6 Laps.

Also if the ball is bouncing left to right on the rubber bouncers 99% of the time it will fall down the side
So I suggest tilting at the time the ball hits one of the bumpers to change the path of the ball.

Oh yeah and talk about frustration. I won't even go there. Lol
