Rally Championships is unbearable from disk. WHDLoad is a blessing here.

i agree that rally championships is unbearable from disks. i was just doing a quick test so i was switching disks using only df0, i did not expect so many swaps lol. i must have swapped disks at least 15 times before i got to race 1.
whdload would indeed be the way to go for this game, maybe it would not be so bad if i had set all 4 disks to df0 df1 df2 df3 so i would not have to perfom the all those swaps using df0 only.

butfluffy if you test only the game for work correctly you can select PRACTICE and swap disk are more less... only 4-5.... try it in config A500 ECS 1MB and kickstart 1.3 it work or car not move?

Some info:
I think "Lev4" on the "QTX" crack was the problem.
They have put original release on one disk, they ripped the files and Bytekiller packed them, so it fits on one disk.
But it seems they failed with file "LEV4".

I tested silk or swim and confirm worked LEVEL 9 without problem. For 100% working who have to test all levels can use trainer
Sink or Swim (1993)(Zeppelin)[cr QTX][t +5 SCX] and when loading trainer swap disk and then click START GAME... in game press F2 and the door open for next level quickly! :-) If i have time i test it all levels...
I now try to create ADF with trainer and fix of Maik directly :-)

The reason, why i am not sure, if it is 100% working:
The QTX cracked game expects Bytekiller packed files, unpacked file(s) does not work on disk.
I have recrunched correct data with Bytekiller, but did not got expected size(maybe i have used different version of Bytekiller or different parameters for crunching), at least not expected by me, probably for the gamecode its all the same(at least level 9 works now), i have no idea!
Maybe coder/cracker can give general answer?
Anyway, the safest method is to play whole game.

So this would be my contribution for you, now its your turn to contribute your super unique, top secret disk image collection!

Crashdisk is waiting for some work!

I've some game problems that i noted 20 years ago in my diary of amiga 500 but not remember was is the problem... one of this game is Fury of the furries DISK 4.... probably games crash at loading... but for testing it i need trainer for skip levels...

yeah the car not moving in a500 mode winuae. as i said earlier it worked fine in a1200 mode but that is of no use if you are trying to play on a500 real hardware
