Drivers for Alfadata CD1200 PCMCIA
Are they present somewhere in OS39 installation, if yes how to install them and which CD file system to use.
I have original disk, but those drivers are for 3.0. I know they will work, but I want to know is there a better option in preinstalled environment. Thank you and happy New 2011. (58 minutes till midnight). BTW, I installed genesis TCP under UAE (Internet software), but after transfer on real Amiga there is no Internet folder with Genesis in it. Why? Well, to answer myself and all others who might have same issue, solution is here:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ighlight=cdrom I copied CacheCDFS from os39 CD in SYS:L I copied drivers tandem_pcmcia.device and tandemat_pcmcia.device from CD1200 floppy driver disk to SYS: Devs I copied CD0 from storage to Devs/DOSDrivers and edited it as described in post above. Changed: Device = "tandemat_pcmcia.device" /* Name of exec device driver */ Unit = 5 /* exec device unit */ With data shown in "FindDevice" Device = "gvpscsi.device" /* Name of exec device driver */ Unit = 0 /* exec device unit */ I also applied this patch (to show short CD names correctly: http://aminet.net/package/disk/cdrom/CacheCDFS4220p And, viola. Everything works and prefs can be set with Prefs/CacheCDFS also. |
