GamePi43 handheld - 50hz
I just got the GamePI43 handheld add-on for my Raspberry Pi 3b+ and it can certainly work at 50hz, which makes for a delightful Amiga experience!

Thanks for the heads up! I have been looking for a 50 hz screen on a hand held or mobile device. What are your thoughts on the device overall, do the controls/buttons feel sturdy and is the screen bright and what is the battery life like?

It's pretty decent compared to the lousy GameHat, also made by Waveshare. Screen is decent with an 800x480 resolution and no tearing, it's bright. Buttons are ok, but they are like the old Gameboy, there is only one D-PAD, an analog stick would be good for mouse emulation. I don't like the mono sound, but headphones can be connected via the standard jack or I suppose you could also plug in stereo speakers made for phones and tablets. Amiberry doesn't run all games at full screen. E.g. Risky Woods is very slow. AGA emulation struggles on the 3b+. Uae4all runs everything at full speed though. Battery life depends on what kind of 18650 batteries you put in it. It takes two of them.
