Retro Megademo Progress
Hello people.
I'm starting this thread as a central place for us to post updates on the progress on our demo. Currently there's various posts about it in various threads but from now on new things and updates will be posted here. If any mods want to migrate the other megademo stuff here then please feel free. In the meantime, to whet your appetites here are a couple of screenshots for you. You can see a sneak preview of the part selector and the first completed main part - enjoy. Last edited by pmc; 26 February 2010 at 12:23. |

Paul,
That's hot! I hadn't seen that first shot yet! Man, I really hope I can get something together in time for this. -Brett |

That's an early preview shot of Vortex's part selector. The final release version will have a few more icons and maybe some hidden surprises. Quote:

Looks sweet mate, nice work! Can`t wait to see the finished thing, hopefully will have my Amiga back next week after poor Coze has fixed it again, poor guy he has become my local Amiga repairman. Got an idea for a tune now though so will send you the track as soon as it is done, hopefully soon!

Allow me to explain...
You use it to drag and drop the icons (to rearrange the retro desktop , which is pretty useless but fun anyway) and, more importantly, double click one of the icons to load and run the part... |

Rest assured other guys that DH's privileges only extended to a *very* early preview of my vectors part.
IIRC there were no sprites, no copper, different / fewer objects, no scroller and different music in that preview so even DH himself has some stuff to look forward to! |

LOL.
Yeah *you've* seen it, and Darth Plagueis has seen it... ...and for other completely unrelated reasons Toni and StingRay have seen it too... ...in fact - what happened to my top secret megademo part! |

You saw an early preview version much the same as DH's... I think we should call that viewing a design consultancy. Secrecy...? Thing of the past. |
