Amiga Hardware Reference Manual Reboot
I may be just lost in nostalgia.. but wouldn't it be nice to find a "revision 4.0" Amiga Hardware Ref Manual? I know that no such edition ever existed.. but there was an AGA update or set of guidelines provided that came with the Amiga SDK.
With all of the lovely modern day DTP/word processing tools.. wouldn't it be nice to reboot the revision 3.0 and update it with the AGA info and make it available as a nice .PDF? Last edited by SparkyNZ; 16 May 2015 at 23:40. |

I'd have a go myself if I could find a decent PDF to Word .docx converter. I tied a few online ones with the PDF I have of the 3rd edition PDF with all the original diagrams but it wouldn't process. I'm a bit busy with another project at the moment so it will be some time before I return to tinkering with the Amiga.

How do you do that? You must have a third party plugin to do that? File->Open gives me no .PDF file types. If I select "All Types (*.*)" and open it, I get the encoded PDF, not a nice document that can be edited..
Code:
%PDF-1.6 %âãÏÓ 1 0 obj <</Metadata 17 0 R/OpenAction 18 0 R/PageLayout/SinglePage/Pages 2 0 R/Type/Catalog>> endobj 17 0 obj <</Length 3373/Subtype/XML/Type/Metadata>>stream <?xpacket begin="" id="W5M0MpCehiHzreSzNTczkc9d"?> <x:xmpmeta xmlns:x="adobe:ns:meta/" x:xmptk="Adobe XMP Core 4.2.1-c043 |

It would be great if you include the undocumented features reported by Toni Wilen here in EAB.
