cd32 emulation ?

Hi Toni,
is there part of the amiga cd32 you don't emulate yet ?
I think about the cd32 capability to launch non-aga games, it seems that the cd32 has a built-in retro compatibility process that the 1200 doesn't have.
i think about lotus trilogy off course which still buggy under winuae with a cd32 normal config, the cd32 emulation still miss something and perhaps others things that i can't think about.
My question is do you know exactly what miss ??? And will you have a look later ?

The CD32 has no such thing built-in... It's more or less an A1200 with CD-ROM and Akiko chip, nothing else.

CD32 has only 16-bit ROM (A1200/A4000 is full 32-bit: 2x16-bit chips), which can slow down OS operations for better "compatibility" with programs that don't take over the system.

Toni,
do you emulate the cd32 like it is : 1x 16 bits or like a 1200 : 2x16 bits ??
does it explain why cd32 quickstart mode best compatibility can't handle lotus trilogy:lotus 1 properly ????
do you have an idea why lotus trilogy (lotus 1) still not well emulated ???
I think it's the last cd32 game which doesn't work well for me.(even if i found a way to make it run correctly)
And yes!!! the feature in microcosm when you cheat the screen colours should change in grey but with the emulation it still in full colours.
It's not a big hit, the cd32 emulation is near perfect but when you'll have time, you should have a look but for sure there is certainly more important things or less boring things to do... please don't broke your crystal ball fo me.

I think you have asked this too many times and answer is still the same: CPU emulation is still not accurate enough.

fine toni,
will never ask it again, i just think that with the last winuae, it will be ok.
there was microcosm which works for the first time without any bugs with winuae 2.7, i expexted winuae 2.7 will resolve everything...
Sorry if i asked too much, i will pay more attention to this.
